The Situation

The landowner needed urgent support after a group of travellers moved onto an industrial site in Bootle, Liverpool. With the site occupied and business disruption a growing risk, the client required a compliant route to regain control of the land and require the occupants to leave.

The priority was to manage a safe, lawful departure by serving a Notice to Quit as part of a traveller eviction, supported by police presence to prevent a breach of the peace during attendance.

After searching for traveller eviction services in Liverpool, the client contacted Strikes Property Services Group.

Our Approach

Strikes Property Services Group attended site to serve a Notice to Quit. Officers were in attendance to prevent breach of the peace while the notice was served, supporting a safe and orderly departure.

This case also made the news while the client remained anonymous – Strikes’ case here was reported by the Liverpool Echo: read the article.

Outcome

The travellers left in compliance with the Notice to Quit. It was not until around 9pm that all camper vans had departed the site, escorted by police, and headed towards the M62.
