The Situation

The landowner needed urgent support to remove a group of travellers who had set up at the Giro bank building on Bridle Road in Bootle, Liverpool. With the site occupied and the risk of disruption increasing, the client required a compliant, controlled approach to serve the necessary eviction notice and progress a lawful departure.

Given the potential for confrontation, the client also needed the eviction managed safely with appropriate police back-up to prevent a breach of the peace while bailiffs attended and the notice was served.

After searching for traveller eviction services in Liverpool, the client contacted Strikes Property Services Group.

Our Approach

Strikes Property Services Group attended to progress a traveller eviction, with an eviction notice served at the site. Police support was in place throughout, including aerial monitoring reported locally as a precaution.

This case also made the news while the client remained anonymous – Strikes Property Services Group’s case here was reported by the Liverpool Echo.

Outcome

At around 9pm there were no reports of trouble. Later that evening, travellers were escorted out of the area by police.
